These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of General Aviation Logbook (GALogbook), including the galogbook.com website and any related mobile applications (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Purpose of the Service
The Service provides tools for uploading, storing, organizing, and viewing aircraft-related documents and records. The Service does not certify, validate, or verify the accuracy, completeness, or regulatory compliance of any uploaded materials.
The Service does not replace official aircraft, maintenance, or pilot logbooks required by regulation. You remain responsible for maintaining compliant records and verifying information before relying on it.
Accounts
- Eligibility: You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
- Account security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring uploaded documents are lawful, accurate, and appropriate for electronic storage
- Maintaining your own regulatory compliance and recordkeeping obligations
- Verifying records before relying on them for any maintenance, operational, purchasing, or regulatory purpose
User Content
“User Content” means documents, images, PDFs, text, notes, and other materials you upload or submit through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.
By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service (including presenting it back to you).
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share, including content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, exploit, or probe the Service
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities
- Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data without authorization
No Regulatory Approval
Use of the Service does not constitute FAA approval, acceptance, or certification of records or recordkeeping systems.

Availability & Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or uptime.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, or to protect the security or integrity of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described above.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
